Custom LASIK- A Personalized Approach

For more than 25 years, refractive surgery has been helping patients become less dependent on glasses and contacts for clear vision! Millions of individuals have had the fast and painless LASIK procedure, and now wake up in the morning able to see the alarm clock. They are able to play sports without worrying about glasses falling off or contacts popping out.

How does LASIK work?

LASIK works by gently reshaping the cornea with a cool beam from the laser to remove microscopic amounts of tissue – less than the thickness of human hair in most cases – to create a new curvature.

Will LASIK work for conditions such as astigmatism?

LASIK, which stands for laser in-situ keratomileusis, is a popular surgery used to correct refractive error in people who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism.

Will LASIK work for me?

To determine if you are a candidate for LASIK, a free consultation will be scheduled for an eye exam that includes full corneal mapping (topography), corneal thickness measurement and the measurement of the pupil size to determine if LASIK is an effective solution. Once the exam is complete, patients can discuss their options and expectations with the surgeon directly to determine if LASIK is an option

How is LASIK customized at American Health Network- Buckeye Vision?

New scanning technology takes LASIK to an entirely new, personalized level and provides your doctor with a unique map of your eye. This allows Dr. Ramachandran to tailor your LASIK procedure to the unique characteristics of your vision.

Why should I choose American Health Network- Buckeye Vision?

The answer is simple: technology and experience. Dr. Ramachandran utilizes the absolute latest in FDA-approved laser technology, including WaveScan and 3D eye tracking technology.
